I think I have finally optimised the cat feeding problem. Because our cats are cats, this is unnecessarily complicated.

First, put down a bowl of kitten food for the kittens. Cirocco and Sirrus will of course attempt to eat this, but will run away when descended on by ravenous kittens.

Next, wait until the kittens are engaged with their dinner. Then on the other side of the room from the kittens (otherwise, one of them will move bowls and the Fluffs will be scared off both bowls) place down a bowl of adult cat food.

Of course, this has only worked once. Possibly the cats will wise up to it and do something feline that prevents it working.

I still find it funny that the Fluffs are scared of the kittens.
Just shows who the real cats are. ;oP

The problem is the kittens eating from the adult bowl? Any mileage in an unusually tall bowl that kittens can't reach? I had friends with an analogous fat cat/thin cat on different diets problem, who had to put the thin-cat bowl in a space the fat-cat physically couldn't get to otherwise he would have eaten all of both of them...
