So today I have spent all my tuits/spoons/whatever on thinking about things I ought to be doing. Thus today has been emotionally exhausting without the benefit of actually reducing my mental todo list at all. I wonder what the best way to avoid this happening is. I spend too much of my energy worrying when I could be doing.

Do you write lists? It's a good way not to have to carry all your to-do list in your head at once. And it means when you think of another item you can either think about it now or put it on your list to think about later; you don't have to try juggling thinking about everything at once. You can have a list of big things that need doing, and a list of little things that need doing, and a list of things you need to buy to do things in the other lists. And then you can CROSS THEM OFF. I've been known to put things on my lists after I've done them, in order to be able to cross them off again...

if you find out, could you let me know ?

though many people seem to have been having a bad week of it in one way or another - could be something in the air. i'm hoping things will clear up properly after next week's equinox...
