Identity theft - the saga continues
It's a bloody good job I will never be able to find the chav bastards who used my name to open a credit account. A quick check of my credit record confirms something I have suspected for a while. Although the matter was eventually all sorted out, and Littlewoods stopped sending debt collectors after me, one of the collectors appears to have left an indication of this on my credit record with Experian. I am naturally foaming at the mouth and ready to dismember. Will I ever hear the end of this shit?

This may predate me knowing you. Assuming you have some sort of documented 'not me guvn'r' you should be able to get the blasted thing removed.... [crosses fingers].

Just a note to say good luck with it all. Afraid I don't have any good suggestions, I think I'd be foaming at the mouth, too.

You *ought* to be able to get it removed. I need to check this thing myself. :/

The difficulty lies in explaining what happened and proving it to the satisfaction of whoever is responsible for changing my record. These people are not bright.
