I suppose it was inevitable
Nineve seems to have escaped. I'd left a window open, and I can only assume she took a golden opportunity. However, she doesn't seem to be making it back. I've had the doors open all day, but no sign of her. I am getting worried. Particularly since she must've got out the front, which only leads out onto the road area. I know she's a smart cat and will probably be back in a day or so looking smug, but I feel worried nonetheless.

Nineve occasionally disappeared for a couple of days when she was living here; I think she just likes to roam.

If she isn't back by tomorrow night let me know, and I'll let Petlog know she's vanished to alert vets.

Longest I've had a cat disappear, only to reappear later with an innocent expression on her face, was a little under two years. On the other hand, she had worked up to that, with summer holidays the previous two years.

... and by this, I mean - never give up. Cats are funny creatures, they do like you, but they have some funny ideas about loyalty sometimes. They are, after all, the epitome of cupboard love, and yet sometimes they'll bring you a nice fresh mouse every morning for breakfast.

You should have installed a CatCam. ;o) I'm sure she'll be fine.
*supportive vibes*

It's always worrying when that happens. In my experience, they come home in a day or two, though, so I wouldn't worry too much.
